"There is a small group of friends with whom I take trips to New York City to see Broadway plays as "ladies day out". We really loved Mamma Mia. One of us (Ann) wrote Carey to tell her how much she enjoyed her performances. This resulted in Carey, ever the sweet lady she is, asking the friend to meet her after the show. Then we all were hooked and ended up seeing Avenue Q and Mamma Mia many many times. How many we will not reveal!!! We drove up to West Haven to see her in Five Years later, watched her play in the softball Broadway stars league... It is so wonderful to see a Broadway star still keep those small town manners ; -) We have a friend from Japan (who is fine) and loved the Disney on Classics CD done for the Japanese. When Carey announced the benefit on Facebook, we HAD to go!

We really enjoyed the evening show... every performer did a wonderful job! Although Sierra Boggess had me in tears with Love Never Dies, Carey followed so well! The only way it could have been better is if it were longer ; -) Carey did an outstanding job organizing the entire production and it was a honor to be there."

"After seeing Avenue Q back in November 2008, I planned another trip to go back and see it just for Carey. She immediately catches your attention and and keeps it the entire time she's on stage. I hope Carey stays on Broadway for a long time. She is truly an inspiration, and you can tell she genuinely loves what she does and loves all her fans. Her personality just shines through on stage (and off). I wish her the best of luck in whatever she does!"

"My daughter is a singer and a dancer - an aspiring actress, which may lead to nowhere, but it is fun and she loves it. She is in several dance classes, a competition team dance, several choruses, takes vocal lessons, and has even sung the national anthem at the Long Island Ducks stadium.  She loves Broadway, so we are taking her back to see Momma Mia for the second time.

When we saw Momma Mia 2 years ago, Carey Anderson was Sophie. She was great! My daughter loved her. She loves the Abba songs, and Carey Anderson became her hero at age 11 (she never met her - but just admired the character she played and how well she played it). We are going to miss her at Momma Mia, but we'll have to go to her new production to see her perform. I am sure she is great at the show too."
